Structure

As a structure, two types are used: Flat and Nested.

Flat structure

In this case, all lessons are visible and they are available by clicking. This is the easiest type of navigation between course lessons. So you understand its scope and progress at a glance.

Nested Structure

A nested structure can consist of two or more levels. Each can have several lessons and several sublevels. It depends on the strategy that each school chooses for itself.

Navigating through lessons

Available lessons β€” have an orange icon. When you select this lesson, you will see its content

Dependent Lesson β€” can be accessed provided you marked the previous lesson as "Completed". When you select such a lesson, a picture will appear in place of the content with a caption and a button to go to the lesson. This will take you to the lesson you need to complete.

The "Complete lesson" button is always at the bottom of the browser window. Once you click on it, you will access the next lesson.

Once you click on the button, the lesson will be available and you will have access to it

In some cases, when a lesson has more than one lecture tabs (in case of one lecture tab the top bar it's not displayed), the "Complete lesson" button will be displayed on the last tab.

Navigate to Folder (Module)

If you need more focus on a module you are going through, double-click the name to open it.

In the course hierarchy, you will only have this module open

To go back to the general list of lessons, click on the "Back" arrow. You can also go back by clicking on the "Home" icon. This takes you to the first level of course content.

Lessons available by date

Sometimes access to some lessons or modules is by date. They are marked with a caption under the lesson title with details about when access will be open. This information is duplicated in the place where the content should be.
